Sensor-based solutions for the spatially and temporally high-resolution measurement of, for example, climate, pollutants, water supply, traffic volumes and energy consumption help to comply with and monitor limit values, identify hot spots and plan adaptation. - They also serve to identify scope for action in regions with particularly intensive use.

Discover environmental data of your city

With our CityScreening service, we support you in detecting and monitoring urban heat islands. Autonomous sensor nodes record measured values to the minute, which are recalibrated using correction algorithms and provided as high-quality, quality-assured measurement series via the SENSOTO CLOUD. We also offer various analysis, mapping and time series products for evaluating heat stress and planning measures to reduce stress.

Adaptation of gas meters for the smart meter infrastructure

Smart meters are an important technology in implementing the energy transition. For the gas supply sector, PIKOBYTES and Utilitools GmbH are developing an adapter in the BestGAS project that can be used to connect existing gas meters to a smart meter gateway.

Mobile climate measurements for Thuringia

The urban climate in Jena and other cities in Thuringia is measured with sensor nodes on trams and municipal waste collection vehicles. This way, we can help the MOBImess project to obtain high-resolution data on urban heat stress — with challenging demands on the operation environment and installation.

A local and high-density climate monitoring network for Dresden

We use more than 200 of our own sensors to measure Dresden's urban climate in the KLIPS project. With the measurement network, we are supporting the city of Dresden in climate adaptation and helping to develop AI-supported prediction models for urban heat load.
