Sensor data at your fingertips

Sensor data at your fingertips

SENSOTO is a cloud-enabled software solution for managing measurement networks and time series data. It offers extensive options for connecting diverse data streams or entire data archives to the system and making sensor data from infrastructure and environmental monitoring fully accessible for analysis tasks. Thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technologies, there are virtually no limits to data processing: The SENSOTO platform can easily cope with several hundred thousand sensors and billions of measured values.

Data provision & OpenData

Whether it's a small measurement network or comprehensive monitoring with thousands of stations - SENSOTO supports you in providing measurement data within your organization, external data provision for partners and customers and publication as OpenData.

In addition to a wide range of integration solutions for connecting live data and IoT devices, we provide you with efficient data adapters for large data archives and databases.

Interactive research

An interactive map gives you an overview of all sensor locations and measuring points at all times. For large data archives in particular, we offer intuitive tools for searching and filtering sensor data, e.g. by topic, data collection period, resolution and phenomenon.

Visual analysis

In contrast to pure catalog solutions, SENSOTO offers extensive tools for data analysis. In addition to the map, which shows the spatial distribution of the measurement points, interactive diagrams help to view and analyze the measurement data. Seasonal patterns, unusual events and extreme values can be easily recognized.

Provision of open data and high-quality data sets

In addition to collecting and storing environmental data, the public sector is also tasked with making it available as open data. With regard to sensor and measurement data, the EU directive on the publication of high-value datasets from 2024 is of great relevance. It particularly affects data from the areas of air, climate, emissions, noise, water and meteorology. The new directive not only expands the range of data to be made publicly available, it also places increased demands on the timeliness and availability of the data.

SENSOTO can easily meet these requirements and also provide large, constantly growing volumes of data in the required data formats in a high-performance and cost-effective manner. Depending on your needs, we offer various solutions in the cloud and on premise so that you can choose freely between the different operating models. Publish your data as OpenData in full temporal depth and with maximum user experience. Use our Software as a Service offerings and integrate the corresponding widgets into your website with just a few clicks or host the data yourself with our on-premise offering.

Monitoring of measuring networks

With SENSOTO, you can always keep an eye on the data from your monitoring networks. By combining and harmonizing different measurement data in a powerful system, you always have an overview of your data and measuring stations. Detect measurement technology failures more quickly, avoid tedious harmonization activities during data evaluation and control who can see and use which data down to the level of individual data channels. Use powerful functions for data harmonization and transformation via our powerful REST API and create more time for evaluation.

Real-time monitoring and hot data archive

Large, high-resolution measurement networks in the field of infrastructure monitoring, building monitoring and environmental sensor technology in particular require powerful solutions for recording and storing the constantly growing volumes of data. Corresponding IT systems have to manage a balancing act between real-time data processing and data archiving, overstraining many established solutions.

SENSOTO makes the separation between live system and data archive superfluous. Whether current or historical data - you can keep an eye on your measured values at all times and access them in full temporal depth within milliseconds. Do you have thousands of measurement series in high temporal resolution and decades of history? SENSOTO is designed precisely for these scenarios and gives you instant access to all your data at any time - all of that with low hardware requirements. It can be connected to a large number of existing systems and integrates perfectly into existing IT system landscapes.
